  1. Thanks Benson! Why did you choose to "create a surface from curves" and not the loft tool? I know I can make contours ie. cross sections from a loft surface, can you do this after creating a surface using your method? Also, I've noticed that even with my snap to object contraint on and snap to loci on (Vworks Preferences)my 3D loci are not really touching my nurb curve- mind you I'm zoomed in at 968%... is that why they don't appear to touch? Thank you!
  2. I am trying to draft a curved surface by lofting thru a series of sections drawn as nurbs curves. Problem is I can't tell what the exact length of the nurbs curve is- Does that mean I have to draft as a Polyline and then convert to nurbs to create the loft surface? This is how I made the sections to begin with but once they turned into Nurbs I lost the length info. Is there any way to edit or place a constraint on the length of 3D curves? The surface can be described as a piece of paper on a table. Its top edge is lifted and its upper right corner is lifted even more so, as such the top edge starts to pull towards the bottom and the right sides start to gently pull toward the centre. The surface area dimensions are known- Hence the need to edit and fix the lengths of curves. A good thing about this is that I only have to draft half of the surface, it can be mirrored! Thanks!
