I've got a bunch of symbols, all with the same record format attached. If I "REPLACE..." in the drawing - say to change to a lozenge of a different color - the data in the record defaults. In the symbol, I've also got text attached so that each symbol instance displays the data in a particular field. Tah! VW2017 on a Mac

I get inconsistent results when importing DWGs. Sometimes they come in OK, sometimes certain elements drop out, sometimes I get blank screens with empty viewports. I haven't been able to figure out a pattern and I don't know what versions the clients are using (presumably of AutoCAD). I've got a copy of AutoCAD LT for Windows which usually can open these. I've tried to save out of LT in various versions...in vain. Thoughts?

I coulda sworn there was a way to choose a class in the Object Info palette, then quickly change the class visibility within that palette! There's got to be! Command-select class or something. I'm losing my mind having to go to Organization each time I want to hide a class! Any suggestions?!

Each time I leave VW (but not quit) and come back, it creates a new file! I'd love to disable this.

How can one edit worksheets that have been placed in the drawing? Is there a way to change the text size or style? Is there a way to break a worksheet object into several columns? I have a worksheet with about two hundred items and I don't want it to appear as one LONG list, I want to break into two or more shorter columns...
