  1. This the perplexing question of the day. Will my work print correctly on my HP Color LaserJet 8550 or will there be randomly missing lines, letters, arrows, and/ or dimension leaders. Today I have a project involving raster images, so my problem is not solved by printing to pdf since the images change to Black and White. So I redraw some of the missing lines to see if they will show up. They do!!! But now others which were previously visible have mysteriously disappeared so now what? Does anyone have a clue? Tech folks? Can you help. I have a job to do and the my excuses are getting old. I am running Win 98 if it matters. Using VW Version 8.5.2.and judging from these message boards VW 9.0 is not a solution. Responses greatly appreciated!
  2. Thanks for the help. I was finally able to narrow the problem down to a postscript font. I changed to true type and no more problems so far. To answer your question ...no I did not import from another program. Thanks again
  3. I am somewhat of a novice but have 3D experience.....on what type of object are you trying to round corners?
  4. After much trial and error I have determined that my the use of postscript fonts in my drawings completely crashes my system. If I change to a TrueType Font all is well. Has anyone esle encountered this phenomenon and found a solution. I am running Win98 and VectorWorks 8.5.2. I have Adobe Type Manager 4.0 if that makes a difference. Thank you in advance for your responses.
  5. I am having a nightmare of a problem with printing dimensions. I am drawing a floor plan, in 4 layers on of which is a dimension layer. When print VW completely crashes my computer. I am running Win 98 on a Dell Optiplex GX110. I am printing to a network printer which is an HP Color LaserJet 8550 PS. Funny thing is: When I turn off (make invisible) the dimension layer it prints fine. I have tried various fonts and ungrouping the dimensions to no avail. Any suggestions? Please?
