it is. it is perfectly ok in the LL window, and its ok for all ETC ParNEL's, but once i use it on an Altman Q65 6" fresnel it goes behind the fixture

In VW 2008 i have a lights placed on a lighting position. the label legend has the unit number in the center of the light, but after refreshing all the instruments some decided to go behind the light, invisible unless moved out from behind, then i can see it. how to i tell it to come in front of the lighting symbol.

When using databases in 2 way worksheets, like a lighting instrument schedule in Spotlight, sort numbers (unit numbers) correctly instead of looking first character, then second character so it doesn't sort like this: "1, 10, 11....19, 2, 20, 21, 22....29, 3, 30, 31...etc."

So here is where i am at with VW2008: i have been trying to do some 3d rendering, but never have been able to get some of my instruments to output light. i know something is blocking the light because when i tell the light not to cast shadows it works... just without shadows. i checked the symbol's 3d component and everything is set to default instrument texture with casting shadows turned off. for some reason i can't get it to render correctly. anyone run into this problem before?

so i just recieved my student version of VW 2008. I was using the student version of VW 12.5 and i know that it tags student version files so that i can't be openned in professional VW. But it is not letting me open them up in VW 2008 student version, which is slightly upsetting. i just want to make sure that im not missing anything.
