  1. We experience the white out and strobe light thingy you describe, but we feel it doesn't ruin the party. - dont write it off- its a great tool. I work with it all the time. Switch to open GL and you can whiz about, exploring the building model! I must admit theres lots of buttons which i dont touch as i dont know what they do. And with no-one to tell me what they do-its best i dont touch them! I think you can programme the Space Pilot to mimick keyboard keys+commands. All you need to know is that you can float effortlessly around your 3d model having fun and inspecting everything. Whats not to like?
  2. yes i've got this problem friend. Glad to hear i'm not alone Most of the time I see nothing in The Viewport at all, sometimes the model is very far away below, just as you describe. I carefully set up an attractive scene, only to find the viewport empty as mother hubbards cupboard in the sheet layer. I have emailed VW tech support in the UK about this. I will let you know if i get a reply. I have IBM PC 64 BIT- What you runnin'? Andrew
  3. Thank you for this- This has solved my problem! Human error again! That was kind of you. :-)
  4. Does anyone have this problem, or know how to solve it? I may be doing something wrong. I have "save viewport cache" ticked in the preferences. When i go to annotate my elevations the 3d hidden rendering is lost and i cant see what i'm annotating any more. My partners' machine does not have this problem. Could it be a memory allocation issue with mine? Andrew
  5. i have 3d connexion space pilot with VW2010- it works beautifully- Smooth and its great fun.
