  1. So...what is the actuall name of the file(s) containing these symbols?
  2. Well I started turnign off classes and trying to weed out a culprit I found tha whn my lighting positions "which are in their own class" are turned off then all is good. If I zoom in on the instrument I can actually see light hitting the gobo when the LP class is off and I can see the gobo but no light when the LP class is on. Your suggestion about a possible shadw lead me to do this so thank you for the tip. For whatever reason my "battons" where getting in the way of the light source...weird. But now we know.
  3. I tried using different textures and no dice. I dont think anything is casting a shadow because I get light coloring in Open GL on the objects that arent being lit in custom or final quality. I tried overiding radiostiy and different settings there. I created a simple file with a light position a floor and source, plugged in a gobo and it worked perfectly there. I will explore the shadow idea though..crazier things have happened.
  4. I have many projects that I began on 11.5 and recetnly upgraded. Ilove it except that when I render in any thing higher than fast renderworks with shadows, some of my lights do not prject onto certain objects. For example...before the upgrade I had the stage and house, some scenery and most of the lights plotted. After the upgrade I added the rest of the lights, a human figure and a CYC. When I render now I get some residual lighting on the CYC and nothing else. IT doesnt matter if it is an old or new light and some new "symbols" like the human figure wont receive light. I cant figure this out...any thoughts?
