  1. That was it! Thank you! I opened the image in photoshop. Reduced the resolution from 300 to 72. Now I have a drawing that doesn't crash VW. Thanks again! -Driscoll
  2. I am using VW2013 spotlight (current update) and I am having issues with image files. I have imported a PDF into my drawing to trace over and it crashes every time I start zooming-in or moving it around. I converted the image to a JPG and the same thing happened. I am not sure if it's an issue on my machine or the software. Anyone else have this issue? -Driscoll
  3. I am running VW 2008 SP2 on a Macbook Pro running Mac OS 10.5.2. It seems that when I use Expose to go to another program that my palettes disappear. The only way for me to get to them back is to go to my palettes drop down and uncheck them and then recheck them, or for me to swap workspaces. This is pretty annoying and takes a lot of time that I don't have to constantly be trying to reopen palettes. Does anyone know the answer to this? -Driscoll
  4. The Geek, You were close...... The drawing had "Use Layer Colors" checked. It was keeping me from being able to see any colors I was adding. Thanks for sending me in the right direction. Thanks VW support for trying to help me. Best, Driscoll
  5. I have tried filling different objects but what I think is weird, is that I create a circle or rectangle and click next to the paint bucket like I have always with VW. I set the object to be filled solid and when given the color palate, I click a color and nothing changes. I am given the option while in the color palate to color by class, but I have not selected it. When I look at the object, the paint bucket has the color that I have selected next to it, but the object is not filled with that color.
  6. I jumped from VW 11.5 to VW2008 and I cannot seem to fill an object with any color. The object remains white even after I have assigned a color. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? -D
