  1. Having an issue with label legends. Working in 2010 SP4. If it matters I have a plot that was done in 2011 and saved down to 2010. I have a number of stock label legends I use all the time. Occasionally I have to manually reposition the color or channel information for clarity where instruments start to over lap. Generally this is not an issue. My problem is that every time I refresh instruments (primarily for LW to VW communication) all the label legends return to their base state losing the manually repositioned information. This has never happened before and I can't figure out what setting has changed? Any thoughts? Thanks.
  2. So I have a light with a label legend and want to mirror it. The problem is the legend doesn't flip. The mirror tool works, the unit appears in its new position but the label information doesn't flip. This was a useful feature back in 11.5 (just jumped to 2008) where you could take two pipes of lights right next to each other with the same legend and simply flip on pipe so that the two pipes information did not conflict with each other. Anyways anyone else have this problem. I figure there's got to be a setting somewhere but I'll be damned if I can find it. Thanks, Lightsact
  3. Here's what I'm experiencing. Working with Vectorworks 11.5 on a Mac OS 10.4.10. I create a new file. Import a drawing from AutoCAD 2004. Adjust the drawing to my needs (including removing all the classes down to the base None and Dimensions and reduce everything to a single layer). I then take the drawing and change the line color to gray for the whole drawing (going to be background in another drawing... I prefer this to just graying the layer as its allows text to be read). Group the drawing and copy it. I then open another drawing I want to add this copied information to. I paste the group into this drawing and all of the text plus some of the "non-solid" (i.e. dashed, doted, etc.) lines turn black although when selected individually the atributes window it tells me they should be gray. I can get the dashed/dotted lines to turn gray if I make them a solid line but not if they are any form of dashed/dotted line. I cannot make the text gray. I cannot make these lines or text any other color either. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Something tells me I probably have a simple setting activated somewhere I need to turn off but haven't found anything in preferences. Thanks, Rob
