  1. I am working in a large file and need to create a clouded vegetation line to represent an existing mass of trees. I created a group of overlapping circles, selected them all and attempted unsuccessfully several times to use the "Vegetation Line" command. Every time I try to do this, i am prompted with an error message that reads: "ERROR Maximum number of points placed. Increase the maximum and minimum radius values and try again for a better result." No matter how many times i try to re enter the values, I am confounded by the same message. I am also confused by the scale of the values. If i am trying to create billows that represent a tree line, which might vary in scale from 20'-50'in diameter, why am i prompted to enter inch values? What is the scale that these values relate to?
  2. I am havign this same problem. I imported a bunch of files to update from 12.5 and now if I recalculate my sums I get 0 plants, where I ought ot have 47, or what have you. Please help!!!!
  3. Hello folks, this is our office's first time posting here (I think!) so please be gentle with me We've been using VW12.5 and now are trying out VW2008. For the purposes of my question, I'm happy to use either program. We received a survey set from the NYC Parks Dept. that we've been waiting for... only to find that it is all DGN files. A co-worker (and Wikipedia) says DGNs are what MicroStation files. I don't see this fileformat listed in "import". Any suggestions for importing these suckers? Thanks so much! Nicole@Dirtworks
