  1. That is great! I should have realized. Thanks, Mike.
  2. Jim: Is there a way to create curtain wall/store front walls that include operable doors and windows? So far there has been no tool in VW that will do this. (I have my own workaround, but it is cumbersome.) I was hoping that the Curtain Wall tool would address this, but given that it is now integrated with the wall tool, that looks unlikely.
  3. It would be nice to be able to model exterior horizontal stucco reveals that converge at wall corners. Also the similar condition when using wall panels that are separated by an x, y grid of horizontal and vertical reveals. The convergence of battered walls at the corners is another example.
  4. Logitech M570 thumb trackball. It has a scroll wheel (middle finger), and two extra buttons (index finger) that you can assign to X & Z.
  5. Thanks Miguel, Process Explorer looks like it will be easy to use.
  6. Hi Michael, Do you know of a similar app for Windows 7. What files would you watch?
  7. I was told by at tech rep, two or so years ago, that they are if fact working on the transition to 64 bit and that they expected it to be rough.
  8. "Dreilich, sole member of the managing board" Sole member? What kind of managing board is that? Also, it seems strange to post a press release that so clearly reveals such serious upper management conflict. What is going on?
  9. Change Space Tool rectangle entry back to x & y!!!!!!! What is up with the length and angle entry in 2013 now?
  10. Reece, how does this fit with you speculations?

  12. What do you think of this ?
  13. Just curious: Why do you set up multiple drawing sheets on a single sheet layer? I have used the keynotes feature for years. It is a real time saver. When you create the first keynote on a sheet layer VW automatically creates a keynote legend on that layer. This is then the default legend for that sheet. You can, however, assign any given keynote to any existing keynote legend. But, I do not think that you can have all notes assigned to one legend that is placed on multiple layers (like a worksheet or symbol).
  14. Create a set of classes with attributes for the different materials you use in detailing. Then use the Double-Line Polygon tool to draw the liner materials at the thickness you set. You can even set multiple components and attributes with this tool.
  15. I don't think the pre-loaded text has ever been pre-selected. It would save a lot of time if it was.
  16. You can do that. I sometimes run an XP virtual machine on my Windows 7 system.
  17. Did you check the spelling of notes displayed in a Keynote Legend? Check Spelling will check the spelling of the Title of the Legend but not the notes displayed in the legend. It recognizes the Title as a record field.
  18. That's what one would assume, but the Check Spelling does not check the Keynotes or the Keynote database(s). I have been using a torturous work around: convert Keynote legend to group, copy to another file, undo conversion, spell check text group in the other file, then manually correct spelling in the Keynote legend edit dialog. It would be nice if there was a better way.
  19. Does anyone know of a way to spell check Keynotes?
  20. You can easily add the backsplashes with the floor tool as well.
  21. Measure the inches at the top of the screen with a scale and adjust the zoom %. For my monitor I have to have zoom set at 125% to see it close to actual size.

  23. Thanks for the clues. I will see if I can get that to work. The Windoor records are similar to VW Windows and Doors.
