  1. Have a look at this http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cDjjQOidGP
  2. I noticed these sorts of things awhile ago I only used it with lines - not polys because of the corner issue Interesting thing is it is called a Line Type not a Poly Type so should it be used with Polys?? And if some one can explain to me how you get the distances between objects in it separated how you want them to be!!!!
  3. How strange is it the human figures are showing the female ones ok and not them men I have no idea about these things with obj files but could that have something to do with it?
  4. I know this may not help much but ... Windows 10 wins - gets rid of the uglies on the left and only show the beautiful on the right
  5. Bugged me for a long time or at least an option to hide them on export if you choose to
  6. Thanks Jim and thanks also for everything you do here
  7. No I just want the Number Stamp Tool to do what it does now but with Text Styles working in it Just drop off the end of your cursor with suffix and prefix if you want them and database functionality D
  8. It is good Rick but auto incrementing is vital as is prefix, suffix and just being able to place it around on the end of your cursor Unless I have missed something D
  9. From this thread here: https://techboard.vectorworks.net/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=228081#Post228081 The old Number Stamp Tool which will incrementally add numbers to objects ... In my case say incrementally add lot numbers to as many houses I have in a landscape design This old Legacy one I use which we can still add to a Workspace does not respond to Text Styles and the Text it adds is just Text in a group to each lot Do others think the old Number Stamp tool could be re built / fixed so that it responds to Text Styles and may do other things that users or NV want it to?? D
  10. Thanks Tom will have a look But ... Don't you and others think the old Number Stamp tool could be re built / fixed so that it responds to Text Styles and may do other things that users or NV want it to Heading over to Wish Lists now D
  11. The old Number Stamp Tool which will incrementally add numbers to objects ... In my case say incrementally lot numbers to as many houses I have in a landscape design This old Legacy one I use which we can still add to a Workspace does not respond to Text Styles and the Text it adds is just Text in a group to each lot Is there anything else that can add incremental say lot numbers and that responds to Text Styles? D
  12. I want to be able to Rotate Callouts so that text can be vertical Multiple leaders would be good too
  13. Hey thanks Benson Always love your stuff mate I used the Site Model back in VW 2009 and since have not used it a lot This is great information for others PLEASE!!!! Keep recording and posting videos D
  14. I always research and buy a machine I call just under gaming level Big puter specs are shown below and it is maybe 18 months old - it has been super duper. Both my puters are running W 10 but held off a while before going down that path - all good though - not just good but great Also running an Acer Aspire V 17 Nitro Laptop almost a year old - VN7-719G-77ZF - great 17 inch laptop for over here AU $ about $1650.00 new when I bought it Have to say and some may or may not be; but if doing ok using VW I find the cheapest part of what we do VW itself and then if carefully chosen; hardware As an example cannot believe our HP T120 A1 plotter only cost here $1550 AU and although we use it a lot it uses little ink and has paid for itself in 9 months I agree with Jim when it comes to comparing costs of Mac to PCs - PCs can be soooo much cheaper and yet run circles around them
  15. Leave VW Classes and Layers as they are When training people to use VW there are many more complex perspectives or VW ways of doing things than understanding Classes and Layers When you try to show Worksheet formulas or even Saved Views and the reason for using the latter - is it really a workflow and understand of the software a new user needs to get their head around So ... who cares if a new user was using AutoCAD, Revit, or whatever Hey - you are using Vectorworks now - get your head around it!! D
  16. All of the below 1) Direct video and image embedding 2) Attachments via drag/drop 3) Voting system (Easily trackable system of +1s by post as well as by user) 4) Mobile device compatibility The Voting System with if possible feed back as to what may be or may not be planned for the next release and ... Honestly I think NV (or whatever you guys are called ... Over the years I have been involved you have provided some things that were not in a sense main stream requests and that should continue - that being the surprise stuff Oh and free pills that install all Vectorworks knowledge into the person that takes them You know the ones Islandmon was taking D
  17. To be sure to be sure We need to be able to hover over an object in a Referenced Viewport - just like web development tools; and know what Class and Layer it is in, in the original referenced file That is a little additional caption on the end of your cursor or maybe somewhere else in the Workspace 63 D
  18. May help if you provide computer specs, operating system etc also My Stuff above D
  19. @Dieter, Were you using your Mac when you posted three times here On Windows 10 also and just like W 8 and W 8.1 it is cool D
