  1. set up with VectorWorks Basic but with help from an external library. examples of making nice presentational work with good-old VectorWorks
  2. we have about 52 hatches in our Outline version of iSymbol. But seen that iSymbol is all about a illustrated look, the hatches are in sketch-style, in 2 colors black and grey. best of luck
  3. VW users, download free (handdrafted) symbols for Architecture, InteriorArchitecture and Landscape-design (color and outline versions) http://en.isymbol.eu or (http://en.isymbol.eu/download.htm) Need another example to test?...leave a message and you'll receive it for free ofcourse: working symbols iSymbol-team

  5. ...and again...it is all about the money. The word 'service to our (loyal) VW users' is a word which is hardly ever spontaniasly used......that is a pitty. People at RAl do have to get paid but why not have a RAL template..to get people interested?
  6. hey IanH, thanks for your question: the random white planting are the trees from the 'OUTLINE-version' of iSymbol-Landscape. Landscape has the colored version and Outline has (as in the name) the outline/black&white types. It is done by drawing every tree by hand!...lots of clicks...many many many many hours off clicking. best regards Franklin
  7. png can not be placed as an image on a polygone: you get always a starnge result. Been there...done that..not doing it again. But the jpgs give the best results
  8. still more examples to show you: even watercolor versions for Landscapers Has anybody heard of the possibility to set the elements/symbols into transparancy? How does that work? Good results? I'm still considering to leap to VW2008...hope to get here info (from users instead of salesman)
  9. I think you guys are searching for photorealistic textures instead of illustrated ones? If not let me know I'll set some up for you...email me a picture and I'll draw it up as a illustrated version. more (texture) examples check my website: http://en.isymbol.eu
  10. forgot to add some images from finished work. feedback is mooooore than welcome!
  11. we all know that VW has great presentation options...but in reality they are just 'not it'...that all changed a bit with these guys. To be honest, it works really great (free download also)...but also a negative side: it is also available for Auodesks Imression. I'd rather see it that VW were 'there can be only one!' check it out: http://en.isymbol.eu
