  1. Hi I have had this problem. Try the following. Double click on the Plant Group or edit from the Resource Browser. Choose to Edit the 2D graphic Select the graphic (circle or similar) and check the Object Info. Most likely the shape is being drawn in Layer Plane. Change this to Screen Plane and use the exit button to return to the drawing. 2D plant graphics should re-appear for any instances of the plant already placed and for any new ones subsequently placed from the Resource Browser. Hope that helps. David Kurita-May

  3. Make sure that you set your design or sheet layer to the correct paper size prior to exporting as PDF. Don't use "Printer Page" options. When exporting the PDF use "Export whole prinatable area as 1 page" Then use "Page scaling = None" when printing. As a back-up quote your page size & the scale you used when sending your file to a print establishment for large page size prints that you cannot perhaps do yourself. You may also include a scale bar reference to act as a visual double check.
  4. Have just installed Vectorworks 12.5 By mistake associated .mcd files with another program. Trouble is Vectorworks 12.5 does not appear on the list of installed programs to choose from generated by Windows. Have tried Browsing to the Vectorworks.exe file in VW folder under program files - but it just goes back to the Open With window again. Can anyone help? Thanks Dave K-M
