  1. Help! Ever since I started setting up drawings using viewports and workgroup references I have been unable to export a drawing to DWG or DXF without it crashing autocad. I am running ver 11.5. My files are set up like this: 2D drawings are each in their own file on a single design layer. They are referenced into a single file and then displayed in viewports in a sheet layer in that file. I have tried exporting to all versions of autocad, in all file types, with and without hatches and fills, etc. Everytime I test the files in autocad on a PC the program crashes. I have tried importing these DWGs and DXFs back into Vectorworks and they import fine. Any ideas what my problem could be? I dont believe this is an autocad problem because I have sent my DWGs and DXFs to multiple people who all experience the same crashes. Perhaps I could "collapse" all the viewports into a single, editable layer? I have tried converting them to groups, but this requires them to be rendered. As soon as I change the render setting of a viewport to anything but wireframe the viewports display incorrectly. Any help would be much appreciated.
