Hi Mike, But the odd behavior of walls made to symbols happens on the same layer. I reset all the VW preferences but it did'nt resolve the problem. Thank you for the trick about DLVPs, i'm gonna try it for the next project (the present one is big and almost complete). By the way, the "ignore source user origin" didn't work well under 12.5.3 : at new opening the target file didn't remember the wished position of the referenced drawing in the target file. Hi Ray. Ok Ray, you're right, thank you. (Mike, i'm gonna reset all the preferences in a while) But as a matter of fact, i did resume my real problem in a false example. My real problem is that i'm working on a file drawn with VW 12.5.3. I have to make whole floors to symbols including walls (linked to the layer deltaZ), so i can reference them in other layers and other files. And there's the problem (seen in isometric) : the wall became flat and haven't got anymore a height. Or sometimes the furnitures will jump vertically up or downward. You notice this only once you insert the symbol. I join a file in case you want and got time to take a look. Kind Regards.

In VW 2010 SP2 or SP3 on imac draw a wall and link its height to the Layer ∆Z. Switch for example to letf isometric view and copy the wall by clic-draw-alt : the new wall shows a different height ! Switch to front view, it's funny too. Does somebody notice the same ? Does anybody have a solution ? In a great hurry to deliver plans I'm praying for help. Kind Regards

Hi, i'm using VW 12.5 on a iMac 27" 2.66MHz Intel Core i5, 8Go DDR3. Pretty everything seems to work well except the Section viewports wich either take a lot of time or crashes VW. Does anybody have a tip ?

Did'nt find any post treating about the way to avoid those new 'untitled' files poping up each time i switch between the finder and VW (when no document's open) through the Dock. Does anybody have the same problem ?

Sorry, about the missing AEC menu etc., i just realized that i was working in the Sign Location Planning workspace... so there is no more any problem.

Hello, I noticed that the AEC menu has disappeared after installing 12.5.1. Equally for the "objects from polyline" in the "convert" dialogbox.

I have the same problem. Importing a model from SU to VW 12.5.1, this one crashes and when rebooting asks me again the register-string.

Hi all, I recently purchased VW and the training CDs (by NNA) from Novedge. I'm now reaching the "Project 02, shematic design" chapter on the first CD, section 1 called "Importing a Site Survey". There, they ask me to import the file named "survey.dwg" located on the CD but i cant find it either on this one nor on the second CD. Does anybody have this file and would send it to me ?
