  1. Hi, So I have Window ID, Height, Width, and Head Height that I all want summarized. If I don't summarize Window ID not all the windows show. If I don't summarize Head Height, then if there are 3 windows with a 6'8 Head Height I get 20' rather than 6'8. The only difference with some of the windows is whether they are operable or not so I need to summarize the ID. Charity
  2. Hi, So I'm working on some window and door schedules where I want the quantity summarized and the heights, widths and a few other items to be what they actually are. What happens is that when I summarize the name/number of the item, the height, width, etc. all get added up (e.g. if I have 3 D-02 that are 3' wide, the width on the schedule becomes 9' rather than 3'.) I figured out that I could then summarize these additional columns so 3 D-02 would show 3', but there's a summarize limit. One can only summarize 3 items, and I have more than 3 items I want to summarize. Is there anyway to change the summarize limit? Or is there another solution to what I want that I'm not seeing? Thanks, Charity
  3. Hi, I'm working on some construction documents that are separated out into multiple files for the different buildings. I want to create a window schedule that summarizes all the windows in these different buildings/files (some of the windows are the same) and was wondering how others deal with this issue (or do you just have one giant file with all the buildings in it?). I've been exploring the automatic VW window schedule reports and can summarize the windows so i don't list duplicate windows, but can't figure out how to get the quantity of each window into the worksheet next to the window number. Once these schedules are created for each document, is there a way to summarize them again in a worksheet in another file so there is a master window schedule? Any suggestions about this method or another method? Thanks very much, Charity charity.kirk@gmail.com
  4. Hi Dave, Can one get footcandle numbers in RenderWorks with these custom light objects? Or does one need spotlight? Thanks, Charity
  5. Hello, So I'm a bit lost. I just spoke with someone at vectorworks who didn't know anything about IES files and said they could not be imported into VectorWorks. I have never worked with these files before, so I don't quite know how to deal with them. I have RenderWorks, but couldn't figure out how to open them in it. Nor is there really any info in the user's guide. Any help in telling me how to open these files would be great! Thanks, Charity
