I am looking for a place if one exists where I can set the default precision for dimension. Right now ever thing I dimension defaults to 1/8" precision and at times I would like to change that to 1/4" without having to do it manually on every dimension. Thoughts?

Using the drape surface command is there a way to "cut off" the fabric for instance a table cloth instead of having it drape to the floor.

I am building a set that has a racked stage on it, but I am having trouble extruding it in a ramp/raked fashion. So far I can only extrude to a flat object or a tapered object

The ability to shutter lighting instruments, add diffusion to lights, or put multiple gels in a light

I have a light plot and i am trying to render down light, but the emmitter for the light is up by the clamp, so it casts the shadow of the light. Thoughts?

I have a light plot that I am trying to render, and I have instruments with gels inserted, but i am trying to diffuse the edges of the beams. Thoughts? I tried inserting 2 sheet of gel 1 of color and 1 cut of diffusion, but VW doesn't recognize it.

I will post it in the spotlight forum again, maybe we will see some result

Is there a way to shutter lights, for specials and such when rendering?

I have inserted Altman 360Q's into my light plot and I am need to shutter the beam for a special, is there a way to do this.

I have a lightplot in spotlight, and I am attempting to render it, however the intruments that are placed in the plot do not allow me to adjust their intensities. Thoughts?
