My Mac client has asked me to spec a PC build alternative for VW Architect, using BIM. They mainly do high end residential. Can anyone give me a rough idea of the base components? I am assuming the main 2 factors are: CPU - i7.latest? 4Gb graphics card - no clue which one to use - any ideas? Any other things that will make a difference, whilst assuming decent RAM, Evo SSD etc Thanks

My network user cannot print to a Canon CLC-4040 using the latest driver - has anyone come across this issue?

My client is on VW 12.5.3 using a network account and a network dongle. When trying to add a revision cloud to a drawing she gets the error as above. I have tried replacing the file into plug-ins from elsewhere, and repaired permissions, but to no avail. There was a link to another thread on this but it has been deleted it seems. Any clues out there? Many thanks!

My experiences on 12.5.3 Mac and 10.6.3 in a 22-seat network-dongle environment: On local or mobile Mac users (ie home folder synced back to Leopard Server) few if any new issues HOWEVER: For network logins there are real issues: Exporting DXF/DWG fails unless you select a LOCAL destination and not the job folder on the server Printing often crashes VW Occasional random file corruption, and odd issues like a SnoLep user only being able to open a file once it has been opened and closed by a 10.5 user I will add more once they rear their ugly little heads!! The site is 100% Mac apart from the Firewall (KWF) and the accountant's WinXP box.

My Architect client has 20-odd seats of VW fundamentals 11 & 12. They have just reported that 2 or 3 users files have become unreadable, giving error message of "file is damaged,will open as much info as possible" Nothing opens and when I tested it on my VW12.0.1 it crashes the app. They report identical experiences. Please help!!!
