  1. Here is a good resource for 3D plant images. Just purchase Punch! Master Landscape Professional. It has hundreds of color plant images. You just use plant editor tool and export the image as a BMP file. Then open a new blank drawing (foo.mcd) and user Model>Create Image Prop. Make sure to use a image mast to change the black background of the BMP to be transparent. Then all you have to do is import it into your 3Dplant fesource file. Works like a dream! The Punch! software only costs about $70 Us and the images are as nice as the Xfrog images atp pennies on the dollar.....

  3. Like a FOOL I upgraded to Vista. Now Landmark seems slower and It has crashed several time during paste of large amount of data. Anybody else have this problem?????
  4. I am a noobie to LANDMARK/RENDERWORKS. I just upgradded 12.5 LANDMARK to include RENDERWORKS. What materials will help me to get up to speed on the product? Thanks!
  5. I have been searching for a standard warranty/guarantee blurb for my drawings. Something along the lines of "we assume no liabilities for execution of these plans" or "no warranty is expressed or implied bla bla bla" What is the standard notation that the community uses? any samples would be MUCH appreciated.
  6. New to Landmark. It has objects/facilities for irrigation but what does everybody use to design the lighting for a landscape project? It is nice how you can have plant or irrigation reports to place in the design but how to go about the lighting?
  7. I am new..... When you create a new plant you can select a 3-D appreance for the plant. I know that the default resource that the Edit Plant Definition window uses is 3DPlantSymbols. there are many more in the Objects-xFrog library. I have read everything and cant figure out how to either add these 3D symbols to the default resource file or change what file the plant editor users...?????!!!!!!!
  8. Most other landscape design tools include the ability to produce a plant information document. It would be a VAST improvement over the current simple text database approach. I have a link to the document that Garden Graphics Dynascape product creates. Example: http://www.jeffreylandscape.com/document.html
  9. I just purchased LANDMARK. I am a landscape designer. I previously used DynaScape from Garden Graphics. It allowed you to create a Plant Maintenance/ Information document that would include all info , pictures of the plants in the design. This is a very important document to complete the design package for the client. I have discovered that the only document I can produce from a completed plan is a list of the plants. I know I can create a worksheet and export to Excel with this data. My question is: what tool do the VW designers use to create a document that details the plants in the planting plan? Most all other landscape design software has this feature. Can you help me find a resolution?????? Example: http://www.jeffreylandscape.com/document.html
