Hi. I am an architect using VW v.11. I have been trying to export a floor plan drawing to send to a consultant in any format that will open in ACAD. However, I cannot get the exported DWG or DXF files to open in ACAD (2006). When I attempt to export the file, I have these options selected: Format: DWG; Version: 2004/2005; Export As DXF Layers: Classes (grayed); Invisible Classes are: Not Exported; Nothing checked under "Other Conversions"; "All exported layers are at the same scale," under "Layer Scale"; and "Map Line Weights to Colors" is not checked.
The drawing is similar to many of our other plan files (new drawing material over several referenced drawing files, viewports on sheetspace with annotatation in the viewports), but this is the only one with which we are having this problem. I have a suspicion that different viewport scales may be an issue affecting this problem (a coworker was able to open one of the exported files with the eDrawings viewer, but the different viewported objects all opened with conflicting scales), but am completely stumped as to how to effectively resolve it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
