  2. @Amanda McDermott Vectorworks 2024 Update is scheduled to be released on Nov 21.
  3. @Andrew Pollock I'm reporting your issue. Could you also share via DM a file for testing where we can replicate the issue? - thanks
  4. @grodr I do agree with @Christiaan Please try the following: If that doesn't work, launch the Vectorworks Updater (Vectorworks Folder) Click on Advanced Options>Repair - I hope that helps.
  5. We have yet to be able to replicate the problem in-house. If you could provide us with the UpdaterLog.txt file in the Vectorworks 2024 folder, that would help us to identify the issue. In the meantime, please add the updater to your firewall or turn the firewall off before running it, and let us know if that works - thanks
  6. @Yang If you have Service Select or a subscription license, you can log in to https://customers.vectorworks.net/ and access previous Vectorworks versions, in this case, version 2023. Or you can post the file in the forum, and someone will be able to help as well.
  7. @Christiaan Making our R+D team aware of this post. Did you submit a bug about it?
  8. @deadtomorrow we were able to replicate the issue, and it is assigned to be fixed under VB-200323 - I'll provide you with updates as they become available.
  9. @Zsombor In Vectorworks, the internal origin refers to the fixed coordinates (0,0) at the center of a new drawing. It cannot be moved. On the other hand, the user origin is a location that the user can set. The drawing coordinates are displayed relative to the user origin. By shifting the user origin, you can make it easier to work with coordinates, measurements, and distance values. The internal origin, user origin, and page center coincide at (0,0) in a new drawing. However, they can be moved independently depending on the design needs or to maintain the coordinates of imported files. Additional information can be found HERE

  18. @Amine Most of the time, when Vectorworks shuts down before booting up entirely, it can be related to a graphics card issue or the computer not meeting the minimum system requirements. Please check the following: https://www.vectorworks.net/sysreq , and if you are running Windows, ensure the drivers are up to date. Feel free to reach out to technical support via https://customers.vectorworks.net/support for additional troubleshooting.
  19. @Bruce KiefferIt could also be a file or a set of files causing the issue. Do you know if the same file opens independently of Batch Convert (Serving Tray.vwx)? Could you share the file in the screen capture? Thanks
  20. @Cristiano Alves As part of the Core certification, we cover most of these topics. Check the following links: Core Certification Symbols
  21. @Jule , there is no need to uninstall Vectorworks to replace the serial number; you can delete the registry entries: Before continuing, close Vectorworks completely. 1. In the Taskbar, type ‘regedit’ in the Search box and press Enter. 2. On the left-hand side of the “Registry Editor” window, you should see one folder labeled: ‘HKEY_CURRENT_USER’ 3. Expand this folder, click on Software, then look for the Nemetschek folder, and inside, you will see a 'Vectorworks XX' folder. Right-click on the 'Vectorworks XX' folder and select Delete. Then reboot Vectorworks and input the new serial#
