@Tom W. What the repair does is for every file in the Vectorworks installation you have, it will verify that it exists and compare a MD5 hash of the file with what the hash should be. If a file is missing or has different contents (hashes don't match) then it will repair the file by downloading the correct file and copying it in place of the missing or changed file. "Change Version" does the same thing as repair, but instead of the version you have (the value stored in VWVersion.txt), it uses the version you pick and repairs using that. I hope that helps.

@P Retondo We have been preparing and investing for this change. Currently, we have three new tech support specialists finishing their training and getting ready to help all our customers, and we are hiring one more for our UK office.

@hollister design Studio We were able to replicate the issue. We have submitted it as an issue under VB-189469 - this is an internal number. Thank you for reporting it. I will keep you updated on any changes.

Important aspects to note are that while licenses are transferable, Vectorworks Service Select is NOT. Additionally, a user transfers all versions of a license to the new user. For example, they could not keep a 2018 version of a license and transfer a 2020 version. They are relinquishing all versions via the transfer.

The Heliodon tool is part of the Visualization Tool Set palette and you can find it in any of the Design series products of Vectorworks, Architect, Landmark, Spotlight and Design Suite. Unfortunately, it is not part of Fundamentals.

Hi All, thank you for your patience while we follow up on this issue. We have had similar reports with a Mac Studio/Studio Display. However, we are still gathering information to identify the cause of the problem. Next time you experience a crash, if you can note the time when it happens and send us the whole "Macintosh HD/Library/Logs" and "Macintosh HD/Users/Library/Logs" folders. That will be helpful.

I think this is what is happening. I looked into this, but Title it's hard coded in the forum - submitting a wish to the developer for a possible change to to "topic name," as it has been suggested.
Lately, more people have forgotten to add the Vectorworks version and the computer specs as part of their signature. There is a way to make this mandatory, any concerns? For those who have not completed the profile, they will see the following:

@Jack2022 We support only the last released version, i.e. VW2022 exports Revit 2022 files. Revit itself does not support export to a specific version and ODA libraries work in identical way. Can you share privately the RVT file provided to the consultant for testing? - thanks
