[Vectorworks DWG exports ten times the size!]

When importing a DWG into Vectorworks and then exporting the drawing back into a DWG the file size increases almost ten fold.

What is causing this and can it be prevented?

Hello,

I've only been using VectorWorks for 5 months and am having a slight problem exporting viewports.

I'm trying to export viewports in VectorWorks 12 into AutoCAD LT 2004 so that they operate as Autocad viewports would operate.

When exporting normal viewports from VW into AutoCAD I simple open the drawing in AutoCAD select the viewport boundary and then disable the display lock...but on some of my VW viewports I have set the pen style to 'none' so the viewports have no boundary. When in AutoCAD I then have no viewport boundary to select so I can disable the display lock.

Is there any way around this problem?

[Dimension Line Problem]

When I use the 'Line Dimensioning Tool' I seem to get little red square at the end of the witness lines. I never used to get them and would like to turn them off, does anyone know how to?
