    just out curiosity.

    if i am traveling to helsinki/london/madrid/rom trying to buy any version of VW, they will not sell it to me because i am from abroad. or is is that they will not sent it abroad.

    or is it a license matter of NNA.

    according to european right (market) this could not be.(if it is good or bad is another story)

    as i said just out of couriosity.

    - When you were having these problems, were you running 12.5.1.65397?

    yes i was running the latest version(12.5.1.65397)

    - When you were having these problems, were you autosaving with or without the backup folder feature?

    without the backup folder.

    Did you ever try autosaving with the backup feature set the opposite way?

    no.

    - Do you get the feeling that your FAT32 disk was involved in the problem? Or did in not matter where the files were getting saved?

    let me put this way, since i am switched of autosave and i am not useing the FAT32 for reference files or objects files i am fine. at least no corrupted files

    - When you originally describe this as a "crash/corruption" problem, did crashes always precede your corruptions? Or are the crashes and corruptions (at least potentially) two separate problems?

    the corruption happend twice after a chrash and one without any prior chrash. GUNTHER(NNA) has the chrash log

    same here. latest update (yesterday)

    we have a workaround here in greece.

    the geotiff willbe imported into a programm called DEM2TOPO (FREEWARE) which requires a IDL VIRTUAL MACHINE (RSI will sent it for free). DEM2TOPO exports the GEOTIFF into DXF, SHP and MP. the rest is import into VW 12.05(which is not free).

    VW places the DXF on the grid of the transformed GEOTIFF according to the used datum (WGS 84 or...)

    but vw can not do it proper or let me put it this way it should be on the agenda for the next update to implement a working unicode text support.

    are you working on a XP machine? or mac?

    symbol(TT) ain't work proper on vw12 macos ( not at all)

    it seems that i am on a long odysee to get this font issue solved.

    is anyone her on this forum working with greek fonts?

    win or mac

    how does vw work with non roman or latin or japanese or china fonts?
