    You bet me to it Limei, i was just browsing Vectordepot and saw it, then i thought i would come and post bout it in this topic. It looks promising, dont know if i want to spend $30 on it or not though. Maybe VW could buy the tool off him, that way they dont need to re in vent the wheel.

    Wouldnt it be nice though if we could add a componet to a wall, specify the profile, give it a class and then have it create the siding for us, then that way it would be aware of the windows and doors and we wouldnt need to go through and cut them all out, which takes alot of time.

    with the door handles, when in 3D and you check the door handles option they do whats in your picture, i find that if you want to put handles in or edit them it needs to be done in plan view

    I think it may of been forgotten, as it has been 6 months, and i dont think it would take that long to put together

    By using your method bruce it looks like it has done the job, but when i export my drawing to PDF to print it the problem is still there.

    na it froze when i tried the first time, so i did a complete unistall then put on 12.1 then did the upgrade again and it worked fine. edit: although when i went to test in on another computer it went through first time no worries. and that is having the same problem

    anyone know how i can fix it? is there a file that can be replaced?

    Why is it that everytime i edit a symbol, the record that is attached to the symbol disapears? I have a window with text linked to a record so i can number my windows, yet everytime i edit the window, the record disapears and i have to re enter it?

    Katie, Tried using Architect, Architect Classic, Architect New Zealand and also a custom workspace, no luck though

    rather than m2 wouldnt it be better being m?? to get the ? hold down alt and type 0 1 7 8 on the keypad

    back in 12.01 when you were under Flights and Platforms the current flight that was selected was highlighted around the edges in red, so you new what flight you were editing, now in 12.5 there is no highlighting to let you no what flight your editing.

    anyone else having this problem? Have got it on two different computers, its getting really annoying having to Export each page individualy.

    Simple solution guys, under 2D detail you can set what the Start and End marker, normal one will be a arrow and the other is a filled circle, just swap them round, make sure that you click apply, and you will need to have Show stair Data turned off.

    Have u tried purging a file of unused objects? when you take a ll the textures and image files in the document that are not being used it makes the drawing considerably smaller

    Tried with differnet files, i goto export-Export PDF bath and then add the files that i want, then click export, it just goes back to the drawing screen and nothing happens. Sheets are at the defult of 72 DPI. Have tried with differnt files, new ones to yet no luck

    Yea i removed them then added them back into the work space, Export PDF works but Export PDF (batch) doesnt.
