  1. I'm experiencing complete screen freeze-spinning beachball of death-when I try to move more than 20 selected objects with move-by-points, and it seems to get progressively slower. I could move entire planets without stutter or hesitation in v2008. G5 iMac, too young to mothball.

    Trim

Check the snap radius setting in vw preferences. If it is set to anything LESS than 4 (pixels) the trim command will behave inconsistently at best. This drove me crazy for months, the mushy 4-5 pixel snap radius is only slightly less aggravating.
  3. ok,this has been driving me crazy for months, think I figured it out. The trim tool deletes entire lines or trims to different intersections of lines (not necessarily between the 2 nearest intersecting lines/objects or ignores one of the intersecting lines altogether and cuts from one point). Regardless of sequence, the trim tool will fail to trim. I can click on a line in the same location (hitting command-Z to undo the trim-deleted line) repeatedly and sometimes after 3,7 or 5 undos' it will trim the line, sometimes not. This occurs when, in VW preferences, SNAP RADIUS is set to 1 or 2 or 3. Can anyone verify this behavior ? thanks. vw2008 G5 imac
  4. ..just tried to connect/combine multiple lines (& single lines) to an arc. This seems to be something VW refuses to do; resulting in a screen full of weird. Lines vanished, lines shot off into the infinite vector world. Any suggestions?
