  1. I need almost daily, a 2d double line round tool. It could be similar to the round wall tool but without all of the bim info. I have tried using the round wall tool but it doesn't do what I need. I need a tool that will produce a double line round polygon, similar to the double line polygon tool.

Quad Core (E5-2643, E5-2603, E5-2609) I need to get a dell. I am looking at the T5600 workstation these are the processors that are avaiable.
  3. My company has agreed to get me a new laptop so I can work with Vectorworks and graphics programs. I need a machine that will still preform for the next four to five years. The company only supports Dell computers. I would welcome suggestions about model number and configuations. I travel a few times a year for extended periods of time and use it to work from home when needed.

  5. I am exporting files into .dxf to be opened by a program called Vcarvepro so they can be used with a cutting machine that cuts plywood into shapes. The files are 1:1 and contain one or two polygons. When my client opens them they have rounded corners instead of square corners. Do you have any suggestions about why this is happening or how to fix it? I am using VectorWorks 12.5.2 Designer with windows xp.
  6. I would like to dimension isometrics is there a way to do that? Thanks
  7. I just upgraded to 12.5 from 11.5 and after a few minutes working in a file i lose my selection points the nice big blue ones. If I close the file and reopen they are back but dissapear in a little wile. I am also having refresh problems using the Ctr 2 zoom out key. I saw a note to double push z but it's a hassle especially when my designer is looking over my shoulder Help
  8. Hi We are trying to figure out how to get a flattened view of a section of a cone. I can draw it in 3d no problem but we need a view of the outside surface so we can get a banner printed to wrap around it. The outside radius is: 78.3464" The inside radius is:69.2913" The height is: 20.0787" I am running Vectorworks 11.5 Thanks
  9. Don't know. I will check that. I ended up deleting the doors because they didn't show up in my 3d views. Thanks for your help
  10. Does anyone know how to remove the 3d locus points on doors created with the door tool? I like to use a screen capture to go to a jpeg and I end up with these little marks all over my screen. I can't edit these as a normal symbol. Thanks
  11. Is there a keyboard shortcut to scroll through saved views sheets? The ones you access on the status bar the bottom of the screen. Thanks

  13. thanks i'll give it a try
  14. You may think of it as a flat vine very large at the large part of the cone and smaller at the small part of the cone. The cone is inverted and the skinny part cut off like an upside down teepee. The solid part could be on the outside that would look nice.
