  1. we have been having the same problem here for half a year now. pretty much since we switched to VW12. we also have files on a a server and use them over the network. have there been any fixes on this?
  2. have dimensions on its own design layer and so you can reference the file and leave out the design layer that has the dimensions on it.
  3. I would like to rotate the view in 2d. The 3d view rotate isn't suitable since all the lines and 2d objects don't rotate. The reason one might want to do this is when two parts of something you're drafting are at arbitrary angles to each other. Or you might want to draw an elevation without rotating your plan to look at it at the correct angle. A silly way around this would be to rotate the objects themselves but this can throw you away from your origin and is not good if you're doing lots of referencing. Viewports can rotate but it's not where i'd want to do my drafting. Is there something that can let me look at my drawing from a different rotation in 2d while drafting 2d lines? AutoCad can rotate the UCS and then you can view and draft orthoganally to it and that's exactly what I need to do in VW.
  4. As far as I can tell the arrow style and properties on the callout tool be controlled by layer or does it have to be controlled in the object info box? It would be nice if the arrows could simply default to the layer arrow style.
  5. Have had the same problem at our office. We are an office of about 15 people working off the server. I've heard of the too little free space thing but we have 260GB of which only 70 is used. thought maybe it could be something with the server but seems like people have been having the problem working locally from reading this thread. running vw 12.0.1. we've lost many hours of work because of this.
