G'day can anyone help me was annotating a VP & VW crashed from then on it is very slow to start up again it hangs on loading the workspace, trashed the workspaces & reinstalled those I used on my laptop no dice, wanted to trash my prefs but could not find them ?

If I log in as admin & start up VW it seems fine, any suggestions

we had screen flicker as a problem a year ago on a XP machine with newly installed VW2008, Julian Carr suggestion was mouse driver and it fixed the problem (disable in start up folder if I remember correctly)

I have my General notes on a design layer and use two Viewports to present General notes in two columns on a General notes sheet

Can any one give me a pointer about editing section markers? in 2008 I choose my section marker & it would show unfilled not so in 2009.

So I unfilled them in their file but my marker @ the other end of line stays filled even when it is not filled in their own file and shows not filled in the OIP.

Also I cannot move the section marker text or at least I am not given a handle for it.

Yes it started life as VW2008 file, I dont know, am spending to much time on this, it works properly in a new VW2009 file so maybe it is just translation glitch.

In my live section with display setting "show wall components" ticked, I have no wall components showing. Can anyone help please? I think I ticked & unticked everything it was original a 2008 file

in VW2008 I would give my VP its name "Floor Plan" then when I put in a drawing label, when annotating it would display the VP title now VW2009 it gives the file name & I have to change the info in OIP any ideas how to get the former mode back thanks

Yes I have noted same problems some times specially after repeated edits, the whole object disappears specially with a polyline, changing the object to polygon gives me some peace some times otherwise close down & start again.
