We were having the invisible handle selection problem and after reading through this lengthy dicussion, reinstalling VW, upgrading my operating system and getting the newest update for nvidia driver, and still having the problem, I decided I would try changing the resolution to 256 colors just for a temporary fix. When I opened the control panel I found it was already at 256 and changing it to thousands of colors fixed the problem! It had been changed over the weekend and I didn't know about it. That was the problem all along. Four hours later, I know to check the resolution first when the handles are missing!!!

Hi. I work in a small architectural firm that uses VectorWorks to create our plans. We frequently use the font 'N Helevtica Narrow' because it is fairly narrow so that you can fit a lot into a small area, but the font is clear enough after printing that it reproduces well (for blueprints, xeroxes, etc.). However, this font is creating problems since it appears differently (both on the screen and when printed/plotted) depending on what zoom level the text was written in. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Also, does anyone else use this font? (We don't know where the font came from and I can't find it on any disk or on the web.)
