  1. I have been going through crashes at times it seems constant I found that certian fonts would caushes. I edited my font listing in windows and changed out all fonts on a drawing when I opened it and now I can run for a whole day without crashing. I have also done this to other CPU's in our group and it has helped them also. There may also be something else going on because this did not occur on my old CPU. The thing is it makes your day great when your work is not corrupted every 5 minutes. Good Luck Tom
  2. Can you tell me how to call reset object on the image?
  3. Kevin This is what I have tried. The 2 worksheets one open and one closed neither recalcs unless I go to edit then close the edit command. GetWSImage :=( Floorplan1); editWS := ( Floorplan1); RecalculateWS( Floorplan1 ); ResetObject( Floorplan1 ); Components := GetWSImage; editWS :=( Components ); RecalculateWS( Components ); ResetObject( Components ); Tom
  4. The main thing I want to do is to do a recalculate on a worksheet. When I use the recalculate command it works fine if I have the worksheet open but when it is closed it does not recalculate. when I get iot to recalc then I want to export it.

  6. Katie, I am running 12.0 and will update it this afternoon to 12.1. I will need time to get all the information you asked for so I'll have to get back to you on Monday or Tuesday the latest. Thank you for your interest in helping with this problem. Tom
  7. Kevin, PC's have Task Manager which does much the same monitoring - mem usage and processor load. I will keep an eye on it over several days and see what it shows and let tech support know any info I find on the subject. Thanks for the comment. Tom
  8. After working about 20 to 30 drawings VW12 slows right down to a crawl. We are using Windows XP pro and this is happening to a few different users on different CPU's. The only way to get it to run faster is to restart the CPU.
  9. Can someone please tell me how to open a closed worksheet from script so I can edit it with the script then close it? Thanks Tom
  10. We recently upgraded to VectorWorks Rev 12 but still have the old revision installed so we can make minor changes quickly until we get our templates set up. If the option to have rev 12 as default program was checked "not to ask again", can this option be activated again without reinstalling the software?
