  1. This should work for Symbols too. Correct?
  2. The coordinate System of viewport annotations ist currently linked to the sheet layer. I my opinion this is not user friendly, it should be linked to model space. The picture shows a line, which should be on Y-level 0,00. The object info palette shows useless information, which is linked to the viewport position on the sheet layer.
  3. We do Austrian permit plans, which I think are very similar to German plans, and we never used a dedicated document in order to achieve drawing standard requirements. Could you please explain in which way do you think your workflow would be advantageous?
  4. I want to change the words "Elevation" to "h" and "Diameter" to "ø". Thank you for your help, but it seems this is not possible.
  5. By the way - regarding the slab drainage tool: How can we change the text "ID", "Elevation" and "Diameter"?
  6. Don't worry. Based on my experience, starting with MiniCAD +4 about 27 years ago, Vectorworks 2065 should be well able to do what you expect.
  7. Shouldn't we assume every Nemetschek programmer knows ISO 128 by heart and Vectorworks produces ISO 128 compliant drawings out of the box? No?
  8. How can we change the text "ID", "Elevation" and "Diameter"?
  9. "Widget Groups - Say goodbye to endless scrolling that creates a long and tedious workflow. We now offer widget groups in the Object Info palette that allow you to collapse and expand specific groups according to your preferences." Are these accessible by vector script? Where can I find documentation?
  10. Just open the Workaround Manager, hold down the Makeshift Key and select the Kludge Tool.😂
  11. I would like to take this opportunity to ask for the following mouse behavior again: 1 finger on the mouse = panning 2 fingers on the mouse = zooming
  12. Navigation.mp4 I wish we had better support the Apple Magic Mouse. You should be able to pan, scroll and zoom without using the keyboard or using any tools. Touching the mouse with two fingers should be the equivalent to holding down the option key, so you can zoom and pan with the mouse. So if you have "Mouse wheel zooms" activated you would scroll with two fingers and zoom with one finger. Otherwise you would scroll with one finger and zoom with two fingers. A third gesture, maybe three fingers on the mouse, would activate the flyover tool.
  13. Thank you very much Gadzooks. You got me to try and I got it to work. I always assumed formulas like these were impossible in database rows. (Or broken - regarding my general level of trust in all kinds of Vectorworks features.) Depending on localization you need a semicolon instead of a colon in worksheet formulas. So the formula on a localized system, when a colon is the decimal separator is =IF (Condition ; True Value ; False Value)
  14. Thank you again Gadzooks. This is what I have. Zeros should not be displayed. This is what I get when I try your suggestion. The database does not calculate some formulas.
  15. Thank you very much Gadzooks. I should have asked: "Is it possible to show zero values as empty in a worksheet database?"
  16. Is it possible to show zero values as empty in a worksheet?
  17. I don't want to see any specific changes... I deleted the rest of my comment, because it was off topic.
  18. NNA should decide for themselves if consistency is important to them.
  19. This is also true for every other menu item. Why treat this one differently? - Answer: We should not. Consistency is important. Why do we have the ability to configure menus at all? Shouldn't one huge alphabetical list of menu items be all we need? - Answer: No, for obvious reasons. I, for instance, would move this command upwards in the menu, to make it faster to reach. I would also add a second instance of this menu command in the main menu, right below the other "Align/Distribute..." menu item. This is also for consistency reasons. By the way, having two almost identical menu items "Align/Distribute" and "Align/Distribute..." which do different things is real bad user interface design. Especially if one of them behaves differently than every other menu item, and is also hidden from view most of the time. Why isn't it greyed out? By the same logic, the text formatting menus would disappear, if there is no text selected. And no - saving space isn't a good argument either. Moving targets and disappearing items are bad! I would also want to add keyboard shortcuts.
