This seems too simple...I want to set my preferences for a new page, I put in what I want in the document set up, eg millimeters not inches. But when i shut down and restart it has reverted back to the original settings. What am i not doing? Is there a buton missing that says save? Is there another place that has user prefernces for start up and new pages?

Hi, I am wondering if it is possible to create flat templates from 3D objects. What I would like to be able to do is create an object that has curves in one plane and find out what that curved surface would be if it was flattened out, so it could then be cut from paper and made to form the shape. I am a sculptor wanting to find ways of making new and difficult, forms from sheet material. if you want to know. Thanks

Is vectorworks 12 a "universal" program that would run on the new Mac with intel Duo Core Processors? If not will it be a free addon or is it part of the next upgrade?

Thanks for your help, that has improved the visual and rendering, I also added new contours at .5m intervals which smoothed out the DTM as well. It is only a small mound 8m high and 20m accross which I dont think the dtm is really designed for such small scale. Ta.

I am relatively new to Landmark and am still trying to create a smooth looking simple mound. When I convert 3D polys to a DTM then view it in 3d with the solid mesh setting it creates flat triangles where it does not fill properly. I have tried adjusting the minor and major contours but that does not have any effect. Any help apprecited. Thanks
