  1. I can't open drawings that I've already created. I get the message: "Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view this file. Would you like to install Adobe Acrobat Reader?" I have Acrobat 5.0 installed. I can launch VW10.1 but can't open my files. I made sure that Adobe Distiller wasn't selected in the print setup. I'm using an IBM A31 Thinkpad with Windows XP.
  2. Is there a way to change the square brackets [ ] to parenthesis ( ) on the secondary dimensions? I need to dimension in both millimeters and inches and the square brackets can be confused with the number 1. Ex. 285 [11-1/4"]. (11-1/4") looks better. Can this be done as a script to the Vectorworks preferences? The only way I can create parenthesis now is to ungroup the dimension and manually change the text of the secondary dimension.
