  1. I haven't ever heard of "command+spacebar" for zooming, but I have the same problem with the interactive scaling tool turning itself off sporadically. I have been trying to figure out what causes it for weeks, but to me it seems completely random. It's annoying! I would say that it happens to me 50-100 times a day.
  2. Awesome, Robert. Thanks. David
  3. Thanks EJ, but I don't think we're talking about the same thing. In vw11.5, after making a DTM, you could select a 2D polygon and go to AEC>DTM Processor>Set Border. That would set the class of the polygon to "DTM-border" and would cut the DTM like a cookie cutter the next time it was calculated. I'm trying to do the same thing now in VW12.
  4. I've created a DTM and would like to crop the edges of it at the property line, a technique that was easy to accomplish using the "set border" command (prior to v12). I'm assuming there is a new feature that accomplishes the same thing, but I'm unable to find it. I've created the property line as a site modifier and I have my proposed site model all ready. What do I do now? David
  5. There are three people in our office. Two architects and the techie (me). One of the architects prefers marking things up by hand and the other prefers using the redline tool within VW. It seems like it comes down to the preference of the person doing the marking more than an office size issue to me. The redline tool is great though - it eliminates stacks of paper on my desk and a queue at the printer. The fact that it will create spreadsheets of all open issues, so you are sure not to miss anything is very handy. We occasionally have problems with the automatic date stamps that VW creates though. Anyone else experience that? Dave
  6. Who would have ever guessed? Do you think Vectorworks could at least include that bit of information in the user manuals on the next release? The location of the log file is not mentioned anywhere in current literature. Thanks, David
