Hi there After I installed the combo pack update, it screwed up a few things up on the OS. System preferences will not open up and when I click on the Vectorworks folder in the Applications directory I have the spinning beach ball of death. Also when I have dragged it to the dock it wont open. Vectorworks only opens when I double click on a Vectorworks file. Please note that I am an IT guy who has been trying to help out a user who has had issues with it. When I logged in as Administrator. I can get to the Vectorworks folder no probs but I cannot open system preferences and have tried various solutions to this but no joy. Should I just rebuild the users machine with 10.3.9 and go from there?

Hi. I was wondering is it possible to convert drawings that have been created in Minicad v6 so that they can be opened up in Vectorworks 11.0? If so can you let me know what software will do the job Many Thanks

It can render it fine on my laptop.? My laptop is the same os as my G4 ? OS Panther and uses less memory. However I just deleted some of the objects in that file (as I only have got one layer!) and it rendered the rest of it, perhaps some objects are fine with my laptop but recognizes it as a bug in this computer. I had rendered different objects separately to see what was the culprit and reckon a sweep object (which is a pen) is causing it to quit (even though I had redraw it and simplified it). However, it only quit when I try to render it in final quality and not fast render with shadows. I have noticed with a few other larger sized files it quits unexpectedly. The spec of the machine is not an issue at all! Would it be worth my while doing a verify/repair permissions on my G4? Please Help!! Many Thanks

When I click on Final Quality Renderworks to render a file I always get the message the application has unexpectedly quit. I have deleted Vectorworks, Renderworks and all references to them and reinstalled them but still I get the application unexpectedly quitting on me. I am on 0S 10.3.3 and have at least 1 gig of memory and dual 1.25 processors. Incidentally it does not do it on all files but large files it unexpectedly quits. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
