  1. I am trying to do the same thing. I set up a virtual printer on my MAC, when I choose this printer it creates a pdf file and sends it to a folder on my desktop instead of a printer. (this bypasses the need to go save as pdf each time.) The problems I am still having are that it seems to only be able to create letter size drawings and it gives each page the same name. This means that if I send 5 pages to print, each one replaces the previous one and the only pdf I have in the end is the last one printed.
  2. I am fairly new at VW as well, but I did find a tool, in the workspace editor called Data Stamp (under all tools) , which is a date stamp. I put it on our title blocks for the same reason. The only problem I have with it is that updates the date after you print and not before you print, unless you click on it to update it.
  3. I just started working with Vectorworks, always used AutoCAD in the past. Here is my questions, in AC I could set up a batch print that would print sheets from more than one drawing file. Worked great, make a list of all the sheets from several drawings that you wanted to print, go home for the night, and all your drawings are sitting in the bin, in the morning. Is there a way to use the VW batch print in the same way, or is it restricted to just the current open file.
