Hello all...I get DWF files on occasion and I wonder... Is theres a way for VW to read them?... I've been requesting they resend the files DWG...but this is a hassle...and VOLO view is only for windows I think.. I'm on a G4. THX
  2. A Titanium! coool, well if you cant work...watch a DVD, hehehe... sorry about your 'platform' woes, its not NNA, its the industry...thats just how they do it usually. As a mac owner you'll quickly become adept at siftin thru the wintel trash, to find the Mac stuff...Its worth it And what a wonderfully wide screen you have.. And bulletproof, haha.
  3. Hey Caleb, who told ya its old wisdom? just curious.. Another must do, is to raise the memory...I recomend atleast 250megs of RAM allocated to VW
  4. Yes, I love VW...its better then some very spendy CAD programs... I use a MAC G4 350Mhz 500+RAM, So HAH! By the way, I know some of you, including Wintel users, are havein some problems, Some are program related, but I'll bet there are a few out there who have'nt 'bumped' up the memory. You must do this, because the default just isnt enough. Peace
  5. VW is a great program, but this version is in trouble, I think with a patch or two it will come around..... What We Need Is A Official Responce Telling Us....When That Will Be??? And When It will be Apple OS X Capable Come on friends...talk to us...
  6. I've been useing a Epson 1520C for 1.5 years and its been a good 'work horse' for me. I use VW version 9 now, but most of that time was useing, 8.5, on a G3 blue and white. Did you try a head alignment under, print utillity?

If so, can you set me in the right direction? Animation novice Doesnt anyone out there care? pls help me...your future may drpemd on it
  9. I use that model printer as well...hmm, you could try reinstalling the printer drivers...from the CD that came with it....then, tap your toes together three times
  10. Yes, I use a Epson Stylus 1520. It worked fine with version 8.5......but in 9, certain layers dont show up when printing! even though they are visible on the screen....I dont get it.....pls help me 'get it'...is it something I ate, or maybe I was really mean to a software designer in a past life.....
  11. Maybe your way ahead of me but, under file...go to, Import...then DXF,DWG. I've only worked with 2D files, but, I've imported them successfully from Autocad14(weak! and I guess...VW9 is supposed to work with Autocad2000i. Good Luck.
