  1. got it, I thought you would be able to control that.
  2. Have you discovered a work around? Currently struggling with the same thing.
  3. Hello, How can I scale my HDRI background I downloaded online here: https://polyhaven.com/hdris Please see below screenshot of background and result in render.
  4. Hello, What are good lighting options? Please see mine here. Also, my custom background comes out as white in the render. It is also out of scale in the model. How do I fix this?
  5. Thank you. My background doesn't come up at all.
  6. I tried this, but the background becomes out of scale. Is there a way to change this?
  7. Hello, I usually render using final quality render and just messing with the lighting settings, and get pretty decent results. I am modeling the exterior of a building, with no lights besides the sun. What are peoples lighting settings generally for exteriors? These are my settings with HDRI day background. Why the harsh shadows? (the white and yellow are glow materials - not lights) Please excuse the red boxes, I am blocking out a name.
  8. Anyone know where I can find compatible 3d models for residential appliances and furniture?
  9. When using the heliodon tool, do I just position this north in plan? Then it should work correctly using the settings for date and time?
  10. that is what I am looking for, thank you!
  11. red are lines, black is polyline, because of the curve
  12. Below I have a curved counter (in yellow) that will need curved tubular supports. I would like to create a path to then extrude my geometry along the path. I tried to compose these lines to create a continuous line for my path, however they do not join. How do I go about this? The black lines are curved polylines, following the geometry of the counter, the red lines are lines perpendicular to the floor. Thank you!
  13. Thank you all! Yes, I didn't know of this option. It was unchecked. I thought "composing" a polyline would automatically make this selection.
