  1. That is a good idea. I should be a little more specific. I'm making a cheat sheet for the gaffer. So, as he looks at the lights he can glance at the elevation of the lighting rig that shows the same orientation they are rigged, and can see what number each fixture is. I can manually do this. I just thought it would be cool to see labels in other views. Thx Scott
  2. So I have four rows of lights, 19 to a row, hung one row on top of another. Is there a way to see the labels I create with the label legend manager in other views? I figured I could just make a Viewport from the Front View and then just manualy label each fixture on top of the Viewport, is there an easier way? Thanx, Scott
  3. I'm obviously new, but I think it's an Image Resource. I'm not sure about Renderworks Texture resource.
  4. I was able to import a JPEG into my resource browser and then I clicked and dragged the image onto a 3D box, but I can not see the image on the object. The attributes window shows that the fill does have the image on it, but I can not see it or edit it. I have tried to preview it in OpenGL, but nothing. What am I doing wrong? Thank You,
  5. I guess I'm doing something wrong. I did find the edit bindings option. I selected the right fixture and rotated the position, but it still is not right in ESP. Also I notice in VW that when I select the fixture, the selection handles at the corners of the object stay in place when I move the light. For example, in Front view, the bottom handles stay at Y=0 when I move the light up. Can I attach images to this forum? Scott
  6. Can anyone tell me where to find a fluorescent tube symbol? There's no Kinoflo is there? Scott
  7. I'll give it a try. Does VW have raytrace? If I focused lights into it, would it reflect the rays? Scott
  8. Is there a mirror ball obect for VW? Scott
  9. Newbie here. I'm wanting to place some moving lights on the stage floor. I'm just trying it right now with a rectangle extruded 2ft. Then I try to place a Studio Spot right side up on top, but it places it inverted as if it were going on a truss. I can rotate it 180 degrees, however, when I export it to ESP Vision, it still shows it inverted. Is there some sort of step I am missing when wanting to put lights on the floor? Scott
  10. Thank You. Is the Spacebar usable for shortcuts. In CorelDRAW the spacebar toggles between the current and last tools used. Is there a key for this? Scott
  11. How do I change some of my keyboard shortcuts and reassign them to be something different? Thank You, Scott
