I sent a tech support request to Aladdin but I thought that I would try here also.
I'm installing the network license part (HASP4 dongle) on a new G5, running 10.4.2 server. I followed the instructions on the VW 11.0.1 B068 CD for network licensing installation. When I got an lmguicfg error, I discovered the new installers for USB and license manager at Aladdin.com. Loaded those per instructions and got a little farther. Now when I start the license manager I get the message:
"HASP License Manager was not installed correct, but daemon is running.
Assuming the GUI running for test purposes. Please install the program correct!"
I realize that I'll probably have to back out the installers but what order? I see that the USB driver has an uninstall script but what about the license manager?
Any ideas on how to proceed?
