Oddly enough, I am logged in as an Admin. When I try to reinstall version 12.0 it comes up with the same window. What's up? Adam

Trying to upgrade to 12.5, and coming up with an "The software to be installed requires Administrator or higher level access privileges" Even thou I put in my administrator password. Does this have anything to do with my dongle not working on the computer I'm trying to upgrade? Even before updating, my dongle wouldn't work on the computer. Haven't tried it in weeks, and now it doesn't work. This was the reason for trying to upgrade.. On 10.4.7 Any ideas?

I guess I just got crabby reading people complaining about VectorWorks and bugs...and it rubbed off on me. No 'true' complaints here...except for the curtains. Adam jr.

How are Curtains rendered? I am trying to render curtains by adding a solid fill color - black. Now when I go to render them - in Fast or Final Quality Renderworks, it just comes out as a wireframe. I had it working once, but changed the color and it's gone. Any help? Adam

Thanks for the ideas. Worked out another way to get just outlines. Exported a jpg of a 2D Hatch, then imported it into a texture. Got better results than masking and changing colors. Thanks, Adam

Quick question.... Sometimes, okay most times, I hate the color of the texture that is giving to me in renderworks. But I like the outline. Such as, I want to show there is brick, but not this color of brick. Is there a way I can do this, without having to create a texture from scratch.... This is for initial presentations...and not final rendering... Working on 11.5 for the next couple of days until my V12 gets to me....hopefully it will come today.... Thanks, Adam P.

Or the easiest way is to create the rake by starting with a side view of the stage, draw it 2D and then extrude. But that's for a simple one plane rake from US to DS. Adam

Hello All, Is there any way of purging unused resources such as textures, or symbols from your drawing? I often place multiple textures in my resource to see if they look good for a rendering. But don't use them all. Instead of deleting them one by one, is there a way to clean up the file....and bring down the file size.... Thanks, Adam
