  1. Project 2D objects doesn't seem like it is very useful then. I will use annotations instead. Thank you
  2. I am trying to show both a 2D and a 3D object in a viewport. The 3D object is on top of the 2D object in front view when I create the viewport. In the viewport dialog box, the view is set to front and the project 2D objects box is checked. All I get is the 3D object though. Am I using the feature incorrectly?
  3. Attaching records to symbols seems like a good method when you are dealing with text and numbers. I am trying to attach objects such as a triangle to a symbol. I made a record field and tried the attach text to record but it would only allow text blocks, no objects.
  4. There is a drawing label called 'DWG Label Simple' in the drafting aids file in the resource browser. I need something like this but as a section label (has a triangle behind the circle and a small rectangle at the end of the line) and a section callout (similar to the section label but without a drawing title or scale). I am not a programmer so creating this in vectorscript myself is not very realistic. Does anything like this exist already? The label is very handy because I can enter the information in the object info palete. Right now I am creating the section labels from circles and text blocks.
  5. I created a 3d object using extrude along path which I then rotated in top/plan view. When I close then reopen the file, the object is in a completely different orientation. I have to rotate it in top, front, and side views to reorient it. Then I save and close and the next time I open it, the object has rotated itself again. Someone else from my office had the same problem. Has anyone else experienced this?
