I just saw that your version of VW12.5 is 60762, i'm also on that version, I read that NNA has actualised the update to a higher version should we switch to the newer update?

I realised I had to adjust it manually after giving the number of composant of the wall. The annoying part is that is doesn't follow when I change the size of the window. So the Gap is due to the fact that is remains at the previous width of the window. i tried not to precise the number of composant of the wall but then the splayed remains much larger thatn the actual width of my window and I do not find how to adjust it...

Is there a trick with splayed walls for windows? My windows seems fine in 3D but the splayed wall do not match at all the width of the window in 2D. It creates a huge gap on both side o the window???

As anyone tried the 'Info Editor' by Charles Chandler that is advertised on vector depot? I just wondered wether this could be the solution. If it works it would be much easier at last to be able to use the windows plug in directly. For the moment I'm using symbol with attached records, it is a nice system but it requires a lot of editing work... On the other hand, i've experiment so many bugs over the past versions with windows and doors that I'm a little reluctant to abandon a cumbersome (yet reliable) symbol system to switch to PIO windows which sometimes behave pretty bizarly... providing the info editor tools is a fine one. Any body knows it?

i've tried to use standard naming. Two classes remain unaffected "Redlines" and "Ceiling Main". Does anyone know why?

If your view is destinated mainly for 2D, what I sometime do is to draw a white poly just to hide the 3D part in the 2D view.

Actually I don't quite understand what happened!!! I used to be able to put spaces in any class I wanted. Now it just force all spaces into Area Main. Spaces created in VW12 used to be in differnt classes, but now (once opened with vw12.5) they all switch to Area Main????

Is it possible to put spaces in different classes? (other than Area Main?)

Katie, I've tried to print it on HP DesignJet 500 it prints fine. I've export PDF with VW12.5 it is also fine. So I guess there is a compatibility problem with the Ricoh's driver. It didn't do that with previous version of VW. Do you have any idea of what I should check? Thanks.

I'm using a RICOH Aficio CL7000 RPCS The driver installed is "RPCS Driver for (Windows 2000/XP)" but I've also tried to print it as PDF with acrobat distiller and the result was the same

Hi. I'm using a worksheet graphically in order to illustrate the graphic attributes of my classes. I have a small rectangle drawn by class attributes for each class than I list with a worksheet the classname of each rectangle and I place the worksheet graphically so the each cell faces its rectangle. Problems starts when I want to print the drawing. the worksheet just does not print as it appears on the drawing. No matter whether I print it directly or through a VP on a sheet the worksheet length changes and the cells move so that they are no longer correspondance between my drawing and my cells. The variation is huge. Any idea why this happen???

thank you. I didn't know one symbol could have many records attached. Is it then possible to list a flag that would return 1 if there is a record attached to a symbol and 0 if not? Or even better, would it be possible to return the number of record attached to a symbol?

I've posted this in the architect section but thought that it could be better here. I'd like to list the name of the records i've attached to the various symbol I've got in my file. i've made a workshet with a criteria type=symbol; in the first column i've put =s. So the worksheet list all the symbol present in my file. Then I would like to list in a second column the name of the record that is attached to the corresponding symbol...Is ther a formula I could use so that the worksheet could do this. I've tried =Record and =recordname, but it didn't work. I've tried to look int the index of the vectorscript guide but didn't find any selector for that usage.

I'm using callout with database. Yet the database is running crazy when i'm trying to use accent. The characters with accent just oddly turn to other bizar characters. Also those characters change by themselves each time I open the database; it has no meaning and it always ends up crashing the computer with the following msg :" Buffer overrun detected! A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the progam's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated". Why can't I use accent. Is my problem indeed linked to the use of accent?? What can I dou to solve this?

Does anybody knows if there is any list of the formulas that can be used for worksheets? I mean is there a list or a page in some manual where I can I find that I should write "=s" to get the name of the symbol or "=area". Currently i'm guessing or trying to find out in scripts, but it is not really conveniant...
