I do approve it for that port . . . then 3 minutes later it's the next port number. It's endless. However, Delmer's note got me digging and I managed to turn off the notifications. So thanks all for trying.

Thanks Delmer, but I am set for "Deny All" yet it continues. Unless I now need to post a help message on the Symantec site!

I'm using a Mac G4 Laptop. I have v11.5 and installed a Norton Personal Firewall. When VW is open I am continually bombarded with Firewall dialogue boxes requesting to change the port configurations. When I approve that change - it moves on to the next port number. It's rather relentless. The temporary solution is to turn or the firewall or my Internet connection to work on VW. This is not very convenient. The box reads as follows: The program ?VectorWorks? has opened the port 499653 on your computer, but your firewall does not allow connections to this port. It is unusual for a program to open a port in this range. Programs tha topen connections on this port should be used with caution. Has anyone had experience with this problem? Can anyone help? Thanks
