  1. I was just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with files saving at 0 Byte's and thus being useless? This is with VectorWorks 11.5.1 on OSX 10.3.9 it has only happened a few times that I am currently aware of.
  2. I too would like to see a zoom feature for worksheets.
  3. Does anyone use or know of any decent Pascal tutuorials/references, I have done a google and am about to have a look through, http://www.taoyue.com/tutorials/pascal/ but if someone knows of one that they know is good (for learning from) please let me know, I don't like wasting my time )
  4. We have a guy running VW 11.5.1 on an iBook ~900MHz it runs very slow for him, other people have newer iBooks/PowerBooks and it runs fine (the new iBooks are much faster then the old ones). Coming from a dual 867 G4 you shouldn't notice too much of a performance drop in fact you may see a performance gain (depending what OS you are using now). Personally, I'd love a 15" PowerBook, but if it were me I'd be buying the 14" iBook the CPU difference is not that great any more to be too much of a factor, the only thing you have to look at is the difference in video card's (I am not sure how much of a factor that is going to be with VectorWroks). Also, with the money you save getting the iBook you can have it come with ~1GB of RAM.
  5. Has anyone had any problems with the 11.5.1 update? I have rolled it out to around 10 people and have had no complaints yet, but I am not wanting to roll it out to everyone with there being no change file (which is highly odd).
  6. Example? We recently did a conversion to 11 also, if the file length (or containing folder) is more then 31 characters long it will crop it down and add some hex numbers to the end after a # symbol, If you're simply opening them one at a time manually it might be removing some of the characters to insert the v11 at the end. I totally agree with you this is HIGHLY annoying especially when OS X supports more then 31 character length it should be able to save with more then 31 characters. As for the fix, I have been told the next version 12 or whatever will be able to save with the 'correct' number of characters in the filename. The reason they don't support large file names is because of the backwards compatibility with OS 9, sure don't allow it to save with long filenames because it may cause problems for people on OS9 but conversions should recognise that the filename is already long and therefore agree with itself that it should re-save with the long filename (or at least have a utility to do so for OS X only users).
  7. I was just wanting to know if it would be this week that the list is out?
