    3d People

Thanks, I have tried those smoothing techniques, with no luck. As soon as I make any changes to the figures, they lose their uvw texture mapping, with no way to restore it. As far as I can tell, Vectorworks doesn't support uvw mapping, so I don't even understand how the figures maintain their texture mapping when imported.

Chad- I've been using the 3d people from Got3d.com. Closeup Vectorworks renders them faceted, and I haven't been able to smooth the polygons, but from a distance, or heavily lit close up they are useful for quick project illustrations. Co
  3. "without having to restart your system to clear the RAM" I am rendering single images on a Mac Dual 2 GHz G5 with 2.5 GB RAM. Do I need to restart my computer each time to get the best performance? It renders fine for high polygon count scenes using open GL, but it never finishes the scenes in Renderworks with Shadows, and sometimes not even in Fast Renderworks. Would it be more likely to finish these renderings with more RAM? Thanks. Coburn Bennett WGBH Educational Foundation
