Pat, mine was like that until I updated to 15. But, my reason for asking about what the model the Dell monitor was, is that for my monitor (U2723QE) there was a firmware update I did around the same time that my problem went away. Could be a complete coincidence, but given the way it acts as its own hub could have contributed to the problem. There is another thread on this problem from last year. I see it was bumped up again yesterday. https://forum.vectorworks.net/index.php?/topic/113501-vw2024-terrible-lag-on-second-monitor/page/4/

What model is your Dell monitor?

Vectorworks 2025 does not have the capability to display a popup menu for multiple finishes. This is a limitation in the workspace interface and why a right-click to navigate to the space object is now the suggested workflow. If you are finding that importing a 2024 file into 2025 is breaking the prior worksheets, please feel free to post the file here (or send it to me via DM) so it can be looked at as a possible bug. I tested in 2024 to 2025 this morning and found no change in the behavior in the 2024 Room Finish Schedule version. It should be displaying the popup list, but will limit you to only displaying one finish for the space. [ EDIT: I see what you're talking about now. All separate libraries are now combined into a single library in 2025. Moving forward there is only a single finish library to use and maintain. ] I would love for us to have a multi-selectable interface in worksheets at some point in the future, but so far as I know, there is no timetable for that to be implemented.

Sheets Dissappearing in Sheet Tab (Navigation Palette)
Kevin S replied to Camden Simon's question in Troubleshooting
I see you're on Windows, but what year/version/product of Vectorworks are you using? -
Hi Mike, do you mean in plan view? You can always use another one of the provided data tags for the space object, accessible through the space object settings button, to show assigned materials. And you can always make custom data tags to display the content differently if you'd like. Hope this helps.

Can a data tag report components of a wall

@Jonathan Pickup is correct. Currently the best option to access, edit and assign room finishes from worksheets is to select the row, right-click, and choose 'Select Item.' Then click the 'Assign Room Finishes' button on the OIP to access the entire space object at once. This is the direct result of going to a multiple room finish solution with the existing worksheet resource. If you want to use a 2024-style schedule instead of the 2025 ones, you will only have access to a single finish per surface, but it will work as it did in 2024. Hope this is helpful.

It is included in the latest help for Update 4. https://app-help.vectorworks.net/2025/eng/VW2025_Guide/Import/Incorporating_Bluebeam_markups.htm There will likely be a webinar on this at some point. There is also the Vectorworks Open House event happening today and tomorrow. I will be at today's event (March 24 in the US, March 25 in Australia, etc.) and can try to answer questions in realtime if there is enough collective interest in the topic. https://events.zoom.us/eo/AnZ-E6d4Rj9ez56DILHATaHf2lxWXAZy0BDFLIsBVjsHSUlnzW9H~AggLXsr32QYFjq8BlYLZ5I06Dg Worst case, DM me.

Thanks for your feedback. As I said before, we are awaiting improvement from Bluebeam before we can improve the graphics. I can also confirm that Bluebeam does not currently support export of image markups. Unfortunately I don't have an ETA for when those things will happen. You will see them when you open the file prior to login to the session. See screenshots below. The design intent is, if you are logged in to Bluebeam and the connection is active, markups can be downloaded directly into the file as collaboration objects. Because Bluebeam Connect at this point is paired to the current markups, any sync would reflect the current markups in the cloud. I honestly don't know if we have that capability from Bluebeam, but it's certainly something that could be considered for a future version if it were possible.

Annual Upgrade Frustration
Kevin S replied to Atlas Mike's question in Wishlist - Feature and Content Requests
When I was in private practice, and in the practices I was associated with, we always kept a project in its original software version for the entire duration of the project. Revit was the scariest in this regard, because if someone on the project team opened the file in the wrong version and saved it, you had no recourse. -
@Joe-SA Yes, as I said previously, we have limited information from Bluebeam for the graphical representation of the markup from Bluebeam Studio. We are awaiting expanded capabilites from them for that aspect to improve. The collaboration object is best thought of right now as a data proxy where you can have offline access to Bluebeam session markups and their associated comments. It contains the totality of the data and comment threads for each markup. You can translate those into new redline object entires or additions to the BCF Manager. Think of Bluebeam Connection as an internal tool for converting Bluebeam session data into actionable items within your Vectorworks workflow, not as a literal version of Bluebeam Studio inside of Vectorworks. On the redline object, you can populate it with a prefilled comment based on the content of the collaboration object. Because a collaboration object can have multiple comments associated with it, we allow the user to choose which one they would like to use. See the attached screenshot. Importing of PDFs will be enabled with the Update 4 release coming soon. There's a known bug on the first dialog box in the Update 3.1 version. From a graphical standpoint, the PDF import will offer the same level of functionality as importing directly in the Bluebeam Connection interface would give you. Your feedback is really appreciated. I definitely believe there are ways we should improve filtering of the source material for things such as author. I'll probably reach out to you via DM in the future to discuss some items. I will investigate further the errors you mentioned with ellipses and images to see if a bug report needs to be filed. (update: bug filed) Again, thanks.

Data tag for simple objects like rectangle
Kevin S replied to NickSolyom's topic in General Discussion
When I did my simple test in the Data Tag, it was not returning the units automatically. TXT() also allows you to use different units than what the document defaults are. https://developer.vectorworks.net/index.php?title=Worksheet_Functions#Text -
Data tag for simple objects like rectangle
Kevin S replied to NickSolyom's topic in General Discussion
You're not going to have the space object in Spotlight, so that won't do what you're looking for. But, attached is a file with a basic tag showing the formulas you need for a correct display of what you're looking for. You can modify it as needed in the tag layout for your purposes. In Vectorworks 2025, we added the ability to use worksheet formulas directly in data tags. This is what this data tag uses to create its data: Area: =AREA Room Dims: =CONCAT(TXT(HEIGHT, 'DIM'), ' X ', TXT(WIDTH, 'DIM')) Hope this helps. tag.vwx -

What VW version are you using? Depending on which one, you could use a space object to do this, and it even has a self contained data tag set you can customize.
