  1. We cannot offset polygons! Vectorworks crashes and disappears. (I can't find an error log in the usual place either??) We've tried the same file and new files on our other G5 and G4 machines and they can all manage it fine. Interestingly offsetting normal lines isn't a problem, neither is the general performance under the rosetta 'translation' software. iMac 1.83ghz Core Duo 17" 2gb Ram VW 11.5.1 Obviously we can do it all with single lines but it will be a pain. Is there no chance that an update to 11.5 will be released? We only upgraded a few months ago!
  2. Any word on this? Our office would dearly love this feature.
  3. Yes. I can always copy from the original referenced file but it is just useful to be able to do it from the same drawing. (especially if someone else is using the original). I've been over everything i can think of (scales, layers options all correct, symbols) but not hit the answer yet. Do you have the problem of alt-selecting within arcs as well though?
  4. I am an architect managing 8 different macs each with os 10.3.8 and VW 11.5. I can confirm this problem happening on them all. We use workgroup referencing a lot in our office and if i want to copy select lines from a referenced layer to the 'live' layer I can no longer shift-click and select the lines i want. It simply won't pick a second line up. Bizzarely you can still draw a selection box around the objects and highlight them all and you can also alt-select multiple objects, but not specific ones. This only occurs in layers that are referenced, shift-clicking still works as normal in a normal 'live' layer. This is proving to be particularly irritating at the moment because there are a great deal of arcs on the drawings we're doing at the moment, and even when they are not filled, alt-selecting anything inside the arcs will also select all the arcs it sits within! Thus a lot of time-consuming individually selecting and copying lines. Please help this is driving me mad!
