First:
Since installing the update from 11 to 11.5 I have been unable to export/import DWG. About 2/3 through the conversion (importing or exporting) I get an error message;
"Vectorworks.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being created"
Can't find the error log (is it a VW or WIN log, dunno)
Same files successfully import/export on another machine that has not been upgraded from 11 to 11.5.
Second:
Did the usual stuff, shutdown and restarted Windows, closed all other app's, tried again, tried again with files that had imported/exported successfully before upgrade. Always the same result.
Dug out the original CD-ROM to re-install, but that would not re-install because it saw a later version already installed. Well maybe re-installing the upgrade might help, got a new access URL downloaded the upgrade exe (first time I had installed 'over the net'), but the upgrade wouldn't install because I no longer had VW 11.01 as my application exe.
Does this mean that I have to rip it all out (uninstall VW) and start again.
Operating System = Win2000, VW=Spotlight
